After qualifying at Birmingham School of Architecture, Troy Kidsley gained experience in both property development and architecture with, amongst others, Mark Humphries Millennium Apartments and Geoffrey Reid Associates Architects. The wide range of experience gave Troy the perspective from both the client and consultants view of how a project should be run.

Over the years Troy has worked on projects for some of the major blue chip companies in the UK such as Marks & Spencer, British Telecom, ASDA, LIDL and major property developers such as Quintain, Boots Properties, THI plc and Grantchester. Project values ranged from £1m to £40m in construction value, and the types of project were residential, commercial and retail.

Later on Troy became an associate director of AFA Group in Gloucester and was pivotal in the procurement of major projects for Gloucester County Council. The types of projects undertaken were school extensions and refurbishments, new build libraries and pupil referral units.

In 2002 Troy Kidsley Architecture was established. Since then it has continually expanded to manage a diverse range and scale of projects, and offers full Architectural Services for Domestic, Commercial and Retail Clients.
